Hello!

If you’re new here then I think it is time for an introduction!

I’m Emma and I live in Norfolk with my husband and our 3 cats.

I’m a full time blogger/entrepreneur who has won the UK’s best money making blog for 3 years in a row - so I know a bit about side hustles. I’ve done them all from adult chat lines to reselling on eBay.

I love to help others find real ways to make money - to pay off debt, survive maternity pay, pay for a holiday or replace their full time job. Whatever the reason there are plenty of legit ways to make extra money!

Over the years we have paid off £15,000 of credit card debt, paid for our wedding, had a few Disney holidays along the way and bought our first house together.

Earlier this year I had weight loss surgery, a gastric bypass, and I share a lot of my highs and lows here.

I’m very active on my Instagram stories where I share freebies, money making opportunities, food pics, outfit pics and most importantly, cats!

For lunch today I made us some halloumi burgers - mine was in lettuce instead of a bread roll.

This was so good! I used up some sorry looking salad in the fridge to knock this up, and the tip to crinkle cut the halloumi (from @littlepenniestomightypounds) is a game changer!

Happy Friday everyone! That means time for a face

Happy Friday everyone! That means time for a face to face Friday.

These past couple of weeks I have loved being let loose into clothing shops again, and being able to pick up some size 16s from the rack and them fitting. I also bought a size 14 dress in the sale for autumn and it fits 😭😭😭

I also don’t shy away from mirrors. I didn’t realise I did this until I stopped doing this. If we walk past a mirror somewhere then I stop to look at myself and smile instead of trying to avoid looking at myself.

There are some down times though. Last night I was sick again (hasn’t happened for a few weeks 🤮), my skin is really dry and my hair is still falling out, although it has slowed down.

Still absolutely no regrets!

Norfolk or Thailand?

I’ve seen Bawsey Country Park mentioned a lot on Facebook recently so today on a whim we went to take a look.

Apart from the parking costs 💸 I was blown away at the beauty and the colours there!

We only spent a couple of hours there, and I wore the wrong shoes, but I’ve told @thrifty_husband about 509 times how much I want to go back for a picnic with strawberries and some fancy M&S guava presse, a blanket and books. And to walk for miles and miles around the lakes there.

I can’t believe this is about a mile from King’s Lynn!

I love Norfolk so much!

Today we had our postponed Father’s Day BBQ (sorry, it was actually a braai!) and it was glorious.

The last time we had a family BBQ a few weeks ago when the lockdown rules allowed it, my father in law got sunstroke.

We knew we needed a canopy for the garden, and @wayfairuk stepped in to help us.

I love this extra area in our garden now, and it means I can work outside in the shade. The canopy is lovely with all the ‘walls’ closed to make a nice little cinema room, or airy with them open. The best of both worlds!

However, they aren’t waterproof. I won’t tell you how I know that, but it involved leaving some stuff outside in the canopy after a film night 😂

The rug is also from Wayfair (not gifted) and the dining set is the New Hampshire set from The Range. Solar lights are from B&M and the flowers are home grown courtesy of my Dad who wanted me to bring them home to show Tony 🥰

I’ve got a lot to share about the shop, but up first is sorting all the stock that is taking over our garage, living room and dining room.

For all of those asking, it is an online store that use to be a very well known shop, but went online.
